Cylie Williams
Allied Health Research Lead (Acute and Community Health)[email protected]Cylie is one of the Allied Health Research Leads at Peninsula Health. She is the recipient of a NHMRC Early Career Health Professional Research Fellowship. She is an Associate Professor at Monash University and has ~ $1.8m in grant funding and over 70 publications and book chapters.
Cylie's research interests are diverse, She is leading paediatric foot and gait related research, however she also coordinates and supervises projects relating to older adult foot complications relating to diabetes, health services research into the impact of system change, low back pain research and research into workforce change. She currently supervises nine PhD and MPhil students from Peninsula Health and other health services, and two honours students.

A/Prof Michele Callisaya
Michele Callisaya is one of the Allied Health Research leads and has over 20 years of clinical experience working as a physiotherapist in aged care and rehabilitation.

Michele is passionate about promoting the role of physiotherapy for people living with cognitive impairment, frailty, dementia and stroke.
Her research interests are wide, but focus on improving the physical and cognitive health of older people including the use of technology to both monitor and deliver interventions.

She is chair of the Allied Health and Community Health Research Steering committee and committed to supporting allied health professionals at Peninsula Health to contribute to, lead and use research in every day practice.

He has been the primary investigator of a large telehealth partnership project with CSIRO.
